WHO ARE WE?
We are a charity organisation based in Viewpark, Uddingston, dedicated to supporting the local community across all age groups. Our services include recreational activities, family learning programs, health and well-being opportunities, and advice, support, and guidance sessions. We offer accessible childcare services such as a Baby Group, Playgroup, Out of School Care, and School Holiday Clubs to support families in the area. Additionally, we provide programs specifically designed for older adults, promoting social connection, health, and improved quality of life. Through these initiatives, we aim to enhance well-being, relieve poverty, and connect residents with partner agencies for further support.
OUR TEAM
At Viewpark Family Centre, our team is built on a foundation of care, expertise, and a shared passion for supporting families in our community. Our organisational structure ensures we deliver the highest standards of care and service while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.
Our Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and oversight, guiding the Centre to fulfil its mission. This dedicated group includes a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and other committed individuals who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience. Together, they ensure that our Centre operates responsibly, efficiently, and always with the community’s best interests at heart.
The day-to-day running of the Centre is managed by our experienced Management Team, led by the Centre Manager. They work alongside the Childcare Coordinator and Senior Childcare Practitioner to oversee all aspects of our operations. Their focus is on maintaining high standards of care, developing innovative programs, and ensuring every child and family receives the support they need.
Our Childcare Team is made up of qualified practitioners and enthusiastic modern apprentices who deliver hands-on care and education. They create safe, engaging spaces for children to learn and grow, tailoring their care to meet the unique needs of every child.
Our Activities Coordinators bring an extra dimension to the Centre, planning and organising events and programs that enhance the experiences of local families. Their creativity and dedication help foster a sense of community and provide opportunities for fun, learning, and connection.
We’re also proud to have the support volunteers, who bring additional energy, creativity, and kindness to the Centre.
